Dr. Girotra's research is focused on epidemiology of cardiovascular diseases and understanding hospital-level variation in patient outcomes. His work is mostly concentrated on coronary artery disease, heart failure, and in-hospital cardiac arrests. He is also interested in developing systems of care for cardiac emergencies and studying cost-effectiveness of cardiac therapies.
