Veterans Rural Health Resource Center - Iowa City (VRHRC-IC)

Led by Drs. Carolyn Turvey and Samantha Solimeo, the VRHRC-IC is a field-based hub of the VA Office of Rural Health (ORH) and has a mission “to develop, refine, and promulgate policies, best practices, lessons learned, and innovative and successful programs to improve care and services to Veterans who reside in rural areas of the United States.”


Center for the Evaluation of Enterprise-Wide Initiatives (CEEWI)

Led by Dr. Heather Reisinger, CEEWI is a dually funded HSR&D/QUERI Partnered Evaluation Center that evaluates over 30 ORH-funded programs nationally. CEEWI has developed a standardized evaluation process for all ORH-funded programs based in implementation science.


Community Care Research Evaluation & Knowledge (CREEK) Center

Led locally by Dr. Michelle Mengeling, CREEK works in partnership with the Office for Integrated Veteran Care (IVC). CREEK’s purpose is to “serve as a policy and data expertise hub to share and disseminate information across research and operations.


VA Quality Enhancement Research Initiatives (QUERI)

CADRE investigators are heavily involved in VA QUERI programs, conducting multisite implementation projects on a national scale.

Combatting Antimicrobial Resistance through Rapid Implementation of Available Guidelines and Evidence (CARRIAGE) QUERI- Dr. Eli Perencevich co-leads this project focused on improving antibiotic use.

Virtual Specialty Care QUERI - Dr. Turvey is a co-investigator and leads a project exploring the use of Clinical Resource Hubs for implementing innovations in mental health care.
